What these sessions show
When is it safe to let my dog off the leash?
Like if she was the police there, yeah, sure, she would have obeyed had I said her name, but I don't want to get to that point where like she's hitting the, you know, far end and it's like she listens off leash, but she's not engaged with me off leash.
My dog shuts down during training
She was a little too shut down to do it at first, though.
Does my dog actually know the command?
How many rules should my dog have?
What toy should I use to train my dog?
Should I pull my dog into position?
Why does my dog react to how I stand?
What happens in a first dog training session?
How do I teach my dog to make better choices?
Why does my dog only listen when I'm pulling the leash?
How do I train my dog without treats?
Where should I train my dog?
Why do I need training if the trainer does it?
What is the difference between come and let's go?

Recognize your own dog in this?
Most people who call us have already been told their dog is a lost cause, or that they should manage it and hope. We train dogs in Angier, Raleigh and across the Triangle, and we take the serious aggression and reactivity cases that other programs turn down.
How it works: tell us what your dog is actually doing. We tell you honestly whether we can help, including when the answer is no. If we can, you leave with a plan and a start date.
What you get back is a dog whose world gets bigger instead of smaller.
