What these sessions show
Does my dog actually know the command?
You can see he walks loose leash and he's very sensitive to leash pressure.
Why does my dog only listen when I'm pulling the leash?
When is it safe to let my dog off the leash?
He's also, he does just fine completely off-leash.
How can I tell what my dog is feeling?
I wasn't suited up because I didn't think that I needed to be with this particular dog, but I was like, Ooh, I did not like the body language and the vibe coming out of that dog.
What is the difference between come and let's go?
He can blow right by you in front of you and he didn't do anything wrong because that's all let's go means is go In the same direction as me.
Why does my dog behave differently at different times?
So the obedience or the work window, and that's whenever you ask your dog to do something very specific.
Should my dog heel for the whole walk?
What toy should I use to train my dog?
What happens in a first dog training session?
Why won't my dog listen when he is scared?
How many rules should my dog have?
How do I stop my dog bolting or escaping?
Should I let my dog sniff before training?
Why does my dog react to how I stand?
My dog shuts down during training
Should I stop my dog before he misbehaves?
So, I'll probably do two or three more repetitions of the down.

Recognize your own dog in this?
Most people who call us have already been told their dog is a lost cause, or that they should manage it and hope. We train dogs in Angier, Raleigh and across the Triangle, and we take the serious aggression and reactivity cases that other programs turn down.
How it works: tell us what your dog is actually doing. We tell you honestly whether we can help, including when the answer is no. If we can, you leave with a plan and a start date.
What you get back is a dog whose world gets bigger instead of smaller.
